Bay Windows is first published.

Published by Sasha Alyson, initially from an office on Plympton Street, it soon relocates to 631 Tremont Street. A weekly serving Boston’s gay community, its office is currently located at 28 Damrell Street. The paper is purchased by Jim Hoover in 1985, and by Jeff Coakley and Sue O’Connell in 2003.
